im personally about the 500. the challenger looks great but its HUGE! it ways too much! the camaro might be good too but from the looks of it right now its almost the size of the challenger which means theyll put out a lot of horsepower to even make the numbers the mustang makes.

I'm thinking after I actually start modding my 6er, i'll change my mind. But for now, i'm seriously considering an R/T.
what's the difference in the 2 5.7 hemi's ? The 6 speed is another $1,000 option and there's only 1 engine of the 2 available. I think you can't get the cylinder deactivation with the 6 speed manual. But 372 hp in a $30K car is impressive. And I love the body styling.

I think there's a 5hp/10-15tq bump for the six speed. You are correct about cylinder deactivation. Not that anyone who buys the six speed cares about that. I believe the fuel economy is about the same with the auto and stick.

I had a new Cadillac in the early 80's, it had the 8-6-4 motor, what a PIECE of crap !! I know the newer technology is supposed to be invisible, but I'll never forget that shuddering, coughing, burping Cadillac. With gas back to $2 or less a gallon, I think alot of the tricks the automakers are coming out with will be passe'. I don't give a hoot about gas prices anyway, $2, $3, $5 I'll pay it. So cylinder deactivation wouldn't concern me. Give me a nice, well balanced car with a manual transmission and I'm happy. A 4,000 pound Dodge, a 4,000 pound Camaro ? Please,,,,, 3200 lbs of Mustang in a GORGEOUS body with a couple hundred hp and lots of torque, my kind of ride. And that darned thing is still just a kick in the a$$ to drive.
