Default Front End Decision..

Alright guys, the v6 bumper ain't the most aggressive thing out there.. so I'm split between the 3d Carbon Air Dam, GT Take off Bumper, and Street Scene v6 Gen 1 bumper.. I'd like to try and keep the pony package grille if I can.. I like the styling a lot better than gt fogs!

3d carbon

and SC Gen 1

the 3d carbon air dam is the only one which will allow you to keep your v6 grille. all the others require a gt grille in order to look good (sit flush with the bumper)

nvm. the Street Scene will also work with the v6 grille i believe (but you should make sure) personally i would go with the SS front since it has more of an aggressive appearance IMO.

Don't decide yet!

I had the guys down at Ford throw my Street Scene bumper on and am waiting for the paint to dry and then pick it up!

It seemed to fit flush and work well with my pony grill during the test fit, so I'll take a picture of it when I get it back for you.

I was in an accident and they are finishing up the body work so I should be getting my car back either tomorrow or Saturday. So if you want to see it w/ the pony package grill give it just a few more days.

Edit: Just to let you know they originally told me they could not paint it for some various reasons, but after having them contact the manufacturer they WERE able to paint it. Although i haven't seen it yet. So just beware that there might be a slight problem.

I've heard about the painting issue too.. for some reason Ford doesn't like to paint urethane bumpers? but I'm pumped to see how yours turns out!!

i had the 3d carbon chin and loved it until someone bottomed out my car....

bolts in the fender wells came right out, and the 3m tape didnt hold it on the expressway...i lost the damn thing going 70mph trying to make it home. invest in some brackets if you take this route.
