I used a tender on mine last year when in storage and it fired right up after 4 months of sitting. In the next 2-3 weeks I will let you know if the same thing happens this year!

I had an opportunity to chill in the Pony last night in the garage for about 45 minutes.

Shaker 500 was going pretty strong and I even re-inserted fuse F-16 to enable the subs in the door (I had read that the subs drain the battery even when the car is powered off). Add the parking lights for effect and I was having a good time.

Anyway, so after my little concert, I plug back up the Battery Tender Plus and it's in charge mode. This morning at 80%+ and by 2:00 PM fully charged.

This is the type of drain I would like to put on the system on a somewhat regular basis (1 or 2 times a week) and it looks like the Battery Tender will work just fine for this.

I should have set this up 2 years ago. The interior still has the "new car" smell and this will be a great way to enjoy the interior as well as looking at the exterior while doing tech work in the garage.
