+1
3M Adhesion Promoter.
It does not make it any stickier,
it in fact starts the acrylic adhesive
cureing process. Then its stuck for life.
Thats the need for the 24 hour wait
between putting the brackets on
for Roush Quarter Window Louvers
and when the Louvers can be attached
to the brackets. Its the cure time.

And clean, clean, clean the glass
where the tape will be attached.
Use the good 91% Isopropyl Alcohol
not the cheap 70% rubbing Isopropyl Alcohol.
It amazing whats on your glass
after a few years without a good
cleaning...

It kinda depends if adhesion promoter was used
as to how easy they can be removed.
There wont be any window damage unless
you place a screwdriver in between the louver
and glass trying to get it off and the pressure
point of the screwdriver on the glass shatters it.
Almost no one uses adhesion promoter so I would
think your Cervinis C Scoops will come right off.
If it looks like adhesion promoter was used, 3M
makes a mean emblem adhesive remover that
will remove the tape left over from the install.
Because the 3M double sided tape is of a closed
cell foam construction, the adhesive on one side
will remain on the surface to which it as adhered to
and the other side will remain on the Scoop. It will
seperate where the foam is. Thats what you want
to happen to indicate proper bonding between the
3M tape and the surface to which it is affixed.
If adhesion promoter was used on the painted surfaces,
there could be some clearcoat damage when the tape
residue is removed with the emblem remover.

"When you mean stuck forever, it just makes it harder for them to come off?

Stuck forever untill YOU remove them with brute
force and 3M Emblem Remover for the residual tape...

I have to agree on that being good information. I just figured to take off the scoops is to take a hair dryer in between the window and scoop, get it hot and pop it off.
