Headers?

Headers?
I've got some money saved up and I'm looking to buy some headers. I already have the magnaflow dual catback exhaust system installed by the previous owner and I want to know what will be the best headers out there to complement the exhaust. Let me know what y'all recommend.

go to "search", type "headers" and read on. if you got any more questions, post back and we'll be glad to help you out. be sure to do your research so that you spend your money wisely. good luck.

With shorties you can keep your cats and O2 sensors and not need a tune, although not much gains. Long tubes require a little more fabrication to hook up to the rest of the system, but IMO are worth it.

I have $1000 saved up for whatever and headers are first on my list so im willing to spend whatever on headers and I would prefer long tube because i hear they make more of a difference as far as overall gains go. I live in Florida so idk what the laws are but im not worried about that too much. Also another question I have is about how much it would cost to get them installed?

if you're going to be that liberal with your cash for headers then definitely go long tube w/ full midpipe setup. you can get some aftermarket hi-flow cats installed also to take care of the emissions issue. "stainless steel works".... look em up.

yeah if you've got the money, the stainlessworks setup looks very nice. I've used such a kit on my truck and am still very pleased with it.
You can do just headers and high-flow cats too, if you have some place that can put it together for you, and you can keep the rear o2 sensors too.
You really SHOULD check out what your local inspection laws are, otherwise you may be going back to add missing pieces!!!
