I picked up one from Shaftmasters for $500; won't find them for much cheaper. It's very good quality and I'm happy with it.

I've been very happy with my Shaftmasters. Great product and great people to deal with.

Not to hijack the thread, but more as an extension to the question...

I have an auto (same trans as gt if im correct) and I plan to upgrade to a 8.8 rearend. Do I buy a gt driveshaft or a v6 shaft sans the flange?

Sorry if its a real stupid question with an obvious answer, Ive always been curious about this.

Shaftmasters - $499 shipped.

Get the V6 driveshaft, and when you uprade to an 8.8, get it with the Cobra flange installed.

If money is no object, get the Dynotech driveshaft.

nope. one-piece DS is supposed to eliminate that. its a subtle difference but my car does feel smoother on the highway. i think i've already gotten used to the "off-the-line" acceleration boost that the DS gave me.... guess its now time for that X
