Eco Boost Engines Updated Information
This article was mainly for the 4-cyl but there is a note in the article about the V6 Eco Boost replacing the V8. See below as well as the link if you want to read the entire article.
Going forward, Ford will shift its powertrain allocations. Under the new system:
* A 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 would replace naturally aspirated V-8 engines
* A 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 would replace naturally aspirated V-6 engines
* A 1.6-liter EcoBoost I-4 would replace naturally aspirated large I-4 engines
"With this next phase of our plan, we will expand our EcoBoost engine offerings, adding higher-volume, fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines to the premium V-6 engine we currently offer in North America," said Kuzak.

If they take away the v-8. i will take away my checkbook and go back to GM. I had plans in the next couple years to finally get my cars back to ford. but I guess if they wanna pull this crap. It aint gunna happen.

I jokingly refer to my black GT as the Last of the V8 Interceptors to my wife and was thinking of getting a LAST V8 plate...It would be so fitting if that were true. Anyone know the movie I am pulling that from?

Mad Max - driving the Ford XB Falcon Coupe! But let's hope it really isn't the last V8.
