I have to say I'm super impressed. Congrats on that time! I'm still not too well versed on the 4.0 past bolt ons, but by reading this thread I take it there isn't much at all in the way of cams for it?
I really can't get over that sitting here thinking about it lol, thats awesome. Gives me a lot of hope as I'm one of the ones who doesn't have trade-it-for-a-GT-itis lol.

Haven't seen anyone post a faster time. Ill ask tony as ill be seeing him later today. He's about to pull his motor and put in a head/cammed v8 in a week or two.

4.0 v6 performance
Wow this is nice to see more 4.0 v6 mustangs doing great things to their vehicle. A lot of people tell me all the time i should trade my 4.0 v6 for a v8 but i stand by my 4.0 v6 i like it a lot and want to see how far i can go moding my 4.0 the great thing about the 4.0 v6 is carrol shelby had one as his daily driver and track car the 4.0 is a gt500 v6 terlingua engine and already came with forged internals. So there is a lot of potential in a 4.0.
I also have seen a dude by the name rygen on drag times with a 4.0 lightly modded ran 9s and 10s.

I bought the 2006, V6 at the time due to better gas mileage as was driving 110 miles a day for 3+years, year round in WI. But, some people will put all kinds of money into their V6 and still a V6. Right. I still get complements as keep mine like new. Detailing is done professionally. I just replaced my S&B filter for the 2nd time, which produces additional gas mileage and sounds good, when you punch it. lol
Today, it would have been nice to have the V6 with the ECO Boast, but had to trade in our 14' GMC Acadia, for the 2019 Ford Edge SEL w additioanal Pkg's. 250hp, 8 speed and faster than the 210hp Mustang. lol The Edge is all Black too, to make it FAST!
