Texaco in the states, never BP!

Boy, I guess I get the stupid award of the day. Does that come with a trophy?

Thanks for letting me know...but next time do you think you could PM me instead publicly calling me out for embarrassment?
Don't think of it as a public embarrassment, think of it as a group of people who have the same compassion for cars. We usually speak our minds on here, especially if it could possible help someone else too.
Do a search and you'll see you aren't alone in being called out about the rental molding.....and it wasn't just me who pointed it out for others.

If I remember correctly, Esso gas is the same as Texaco's. At least it was when I was there.

I agree with torch-vert never use safeway sams club or walmart gas.. its kind of like buying an ipod knock off from the dollar store, you get what you pay for. Sheetz shell and BP are the best!

Well, I use Sam's Club in all 5 of my vehicles and (knock on wood) have never had any issues or problems. However, every once in a while I will fill them up at the BP station.
Cars are maintained on regular intervals as well.

Yeah it is kind of funny since BP is the gas Ford recommends.

It's not that BP is bad, I use it too, but as of late I'm using Shell 87 and seemed to get a little better response pedal wise and MPG IMO, I did not have my tuner set me to a 93 Tune becasuse with 87 you can always run a higher octane, but if did 93 you have to stay at that or higher and over last couple weeks I went with Shells 93 and I'm getting even better MPG and better response, even the book says use 87 but if you want better perfomance fill with 93, so right now I run about 320 mile to a tank on 93 and about 310 on 87, now what I have decided though is after doing the math, I'm sticking with 87 since the 93 runs about $4.50 more a tank, that's almost 35 miles worth the gas, so it almost equals out. I just want to say I have been testing this nutty theory over 10,000 miles, so if I want a little more punch..not much, but a little and pay the $$$ up front for the 93 then I'll run 93, but the 87 cash wise would work out too, so just guess what you have in your wallet at the pump...but just found Shell best performance, IMO.........Nuke..behave now LOL
