Exclamation Next Mod to do Question

Ok, So this is kinda long but you'll understand:

Ok, I have an 08 V6 with about 16k miles. I was wanting to put t-lok and 3.73 gears on it. Well Ive searched around and I keep hearing stories of the motive 3.73 for the 7.5 rear end make noise. I know its the installers fault for the noise but I hear nothing bad when its come to the Ford Racing (FRPP) 3.73 for the 8.8 rear end. So My question is,
Should I just forget about new gears all together or should I order one of the Gt take off 8.8" Rear Axle Assembly 3.73:1Ratio w/ABS w/Trac-Loc Pinion Flange For Mustang V6?

Or should I just buy t-lok or a CAI (by its self, no tuner)

Thanks for reading that
any and all help will be appreciated
JJ

Just me, if you are going to have mufflers, just get the motives and a tlock. I have a tlock and its fine, but I have the stock gears. Shouldnt be a big deal if it were me. I would get the CAI and then save for a tune. I have JLT intake and I am saving for the tune, its cheaper than kit from bama, or atleast it used to be

Yeah JTL's CAI and Tune kit is very reasonably priced. I plan on getting it sometime this spring. They are located about 5 minutes from where I live so I plan on letting them install and tune it to my car.

CAI & tune combo. F**k getting just a CAI. A stand alone CAI that doesn't require a tune won't add squat. And a tune-required CAI w/o a tune will throw a CEL for running lean. Do it right the first time: CAI & tune combo from Brenspeed or Bama. Besides the additional RWHP, it improves the overall drivability. The combo is the biggest bang-for-the-buck short of going FI on these engines.

Nuke, how much RWHP would you say a combo CAI/Tune will add?

I was thinking more of a C&L or JLT CAI/Tuner combo from American Muscle
