Came from the dealer that way. They asked me if I wanted that theft stuff then gave me some website and a username that didn't even work so I forgot about it. Guess that little box was it. Pretty crappy GPS unit if all it does is just plug in.

Naw, I'm gonna replace him, not marry him!

To the OP, yea, all kidding aside, that's just some fancy security system the dealer put on while the vehicle was on their lot. They usually disconnect it if you don't buy it. Must have slipped by them which does happen. When I bought my truck they accidentally added the older removable chip security system. I say accidentally because I custom ordered the truck, it wasn't a dealer truck. I was supposed to take delivery the moment it got there, but the service dept screwed up and I got to keep the security system for free. More recently my wife's RAV and my Mustang also had security devices but they were both dealer vehicles. Since we didn't pay for it, they were both disconnected. I ripped them both out completely. Who needs some silly inert device hooked into my electrical system. Might go crazy and leave me stranded somewhere.

All comedy is good comedy IMO, as long as it's not mean spirited and vindictive. The problem now days is that not enough people know how to laugh. I already had several laughs with this thread. I just added a few years to my life as they say.
