^lol I was thinking the same thing.
Look, it seems to me that it's pretty easy to say that the GT is the faster, better handling car out of the factory. If there wasn't a difference, there wouldn't be two models in the first place. However, I think the problem comes when people treat the V6 models like they're barely mustangs and they become severely underrated. I'd love to have a V8 under my hood, but it just doesn't make sense for me right now. I drive too much and make to little and still don't quite feel like I can respect it correctly. But until all that happens I'm more than happy to drive my V6 straight into the ground with as many mods as I want, because it's still a Mustang. It's always going to go faster than all my friend's cars and its always going to turn more heads doing it. Period.

lol no worries. I fully support and expect us to have healthy V6 chat in this section of the forum. The changes made recently also help us accomplish that, so feel free to post as much 6er chat as you want, and I will weed out the un-needed posts.
And no worries Paul, that thread just caught me at the wrong time

in every single car enthusiast world they will be purist. ive seen people be snobby because someone got a bimmer 335 and not the m. get used to, take it with a grain of salt. im here on this forum to ultimately gain knowledge of my car. I also feel like the v6 community has seriously grown since i joined. i also think ODD does a good job being a mod around here too.

Thanks! Yes, I bought it on Dec. 23, 2006. I also bought a 2006 E-350 Box Van/Truck that same day. It was a very good Christmas that year.
I did ask the salesmen if they had any 2006 PP V6, he said because of the rebates being offered for the 2007, it would be cheaper to buy a newer one.

A mustang is a mustang, regardless of power plant! I hate V6 bashing. I've seen sleeper v6 stangs at the track woop up on a lot of larger powerplants, whats even better is watching a single digit SVO (4 cylinder car) at fwc10 simply dominate. That car pissed off a lot of people, and I couldn't understand why.
It's a shame, we are all on the same team and should be talking about how we dominate Chevy's.
