Default Bullit Replacement Grille? What do you guys think?

Hey everyone, I am thinking of purchasing this grille from AM

http://www.americanmuscle.com/0509-v...ro-grille.html

Its the bullit retro grille in black w/ the pony emblem. However the only problem is, i think i first have to replace my Pony grille with a Stock v6 grille, then put the Bullit Grille on top of the stock grille....now this all seems like a pain to complete, but what are your opinions? thanks!

btw here is a pic of my current grille.

get a full replacement, dont even waste your time or money on an overlay. i love love love my 3dcarbon grille and recommend it.

imo: a billet one instead of black would look best.

Personally I like black better then billet and yea looks like you'd have to get a stock sixxer grille.

I just replaced my stock grill with this one:

Its the one in my sig. I wanted to get the one you're looking at but I needed more light

ignore the white wire I forgot to tuck in.

I'm sure you've heard me gripe about this before, but I can't wait for someone to come out with this option for the 2010+ Mustangs. I've been wanting that type of grille ever since I bought mine.

If you can get a full billet replacement grille like Legendlime says, I'd definitely go that route. The overlays look fine but it's not even a choice between the two really. The overlay can be more trouble than it's worth imo. I have upper and lower overlays on mine but only because there is no full swap avail for the '10s.

get full replacement. i have the 3D Carbon like lime which "looks" great but is still made of cheapy plastic. if you can spend a little more, go with the CDC full replacement. they offer both billet and black.

I prefer the Pony Package grille to just about any other grille out there. The only ones I like more are the CS6 and the Bullitt (not billet) grilles. I say stick with what you have.

! agree 100%. I think the Pony Package grille looks outstanding on your car as-is.
