Thanks. Ya she is but i think i can do better. I'm going to the track again on Wednesday so ill let you know how i do. Im making a few changes so im hoping for a 12.5 or 12.4. ill keep you guys posted.

Race gas will do nothing for performance. Zero. All it will do is prevent detonation. Good luck though. Nice runs!

I have a 8.8 rear end with a detroit locker and 4.10s, drag spings, CAI, short tube headers, short throw shifter, race clutch, and the 130 shot and i got my car tuned.

well idk about that. When I and got my car tuned and once we threw race gas in and he made the race gas tune i had 11 more horsepower so it worked for me. He must have advanced the timing because i was using race gas but i got more power and that can equal faster times

the higher octane of race gas allows you to make adjustments to the tune ( such as timing )
so the gas don't give you more power , it just lets you b more aggressive with the tune

Ah hah! Thats the magical word that I didn't see. Im quite familiar with race gas. Lol. I understood that you were just going to toss race gas and you believed it was going to give you power. Me ---> to me..


If you toss race gas in you can advance the timing more and get away with a more aggressive tune. I think you can achieve your goal. Its in no way out of the question.
