I was wondering if any of you v6 guys' transmissions are really loud especially when the clutch is not engaged. its very annoying

nope, never heard any tranny noises with the '11

have you or a previous owner installed an aftermarket clutch? my centerforce makes an incredibley loud, incredibley irritating rattling/spinning noise when in have it in neutral and clutch disengaged.

nope original owner and i havent installed a clutch in it. it was kinda loud before but now it really loud with the MGW shifter in it. should i take it to the dealership or will they try and say the shifter has something to do with it?

yea my clutch when not engaged and sitting in neutral at like a light or something makes a kinda loud rattling noise

Any of you gents read the TSB regarding the tranny separator plate? I'm not intimantly familiar with it but I'd check it out first.

ok so i checked it out and thats for the 4.6L manny tranny
thanks for pointing that out for me tho because i found out whats going on with my door panel rattling. didnt realize that it was a TSB! im gonna go get that checked out very soon

ive taken it to the dealership before but of course they couldnt find anything wrong with it. it was loud before but bearable but now with the MGW installed it is ridiculously loud and annoying
