Default Just when I thought...

Just when I thought I was finally good to go with the supercharger, another problem arises...

So, I finally got the wideband A/F gauge installed and I'm reading 21.9 while at idle/cruising and it only goes down to 17ish when I step on it. The guy at the shop (a good mustang speed shop) re-calibrated it 3 times and still got the same numbers. So basically, it's reading that I'm lean as s**t. I talked to Dave who's trying to get into contact with Doug and it could be two things.

1. Doug's rather rich tune is somehow messed up and super lean.

2. The A/F gauge sensor came toasted out of the box and is reading wrong.

The car seems to run fine to me and the bung weld is in a good place, so I really don't know what else to think.

Where do you have the sensor bung located? It needs to be between the cats and the engine to get an accurate reading.

Hmm, I believe it's behind the driver side cat, so it's not between the cat and the engine. The shop said this was a good place. Dang.
