I appreciate the posts on engine cleaning. My engine bay has never been cleaned and never experienced any engine leaks. Well..........I had a radiator temp control spring a leak this past Fall after 8-1/2 years. The mechanic said he wiped down the area the best he could. I will probably get around to the engine compartment cleaning in April, after our winter season and 60's+ temps. I figure putting the leaf blower on it to dry things out.....from a distance....of coarse. Then drive off. Ya, all the hoses were replaced and good for another 8 years. I drive this thing year round...Snow, sleet, slush, salt, rain, no mud or hail. Maybe from just driving it this winter, the engine bay might be clean???
