Young drivers are not generally bad drivers. That is just a pathetically untrue and overused stereotype.

Young drivers have great awarness and reflexes, they just have no common sense.
It has nothing to do with "They cant handle 300 hp". It has to do with them doing stupid chit that will eventually end in disaster, brought on by the fact that they think they are the next Paul walker.

Its always young males doing the crazy stuff. The crash statistics and their insurance rates reflect it. Ask any 40 year old how many cars hes wrecked in the last 10 years, then ask a 28 year old the same question......

The results will speak for themselves.

Girls on the other hand, Drive on an entirely different level.....

Looks like the integra crash happened because he hit 2nd gear instead of 4th

If it wasn't that and he actually just missed 4th... what the heck happened lol.

Haha, I am so happy the girl did not wreck the yellow mustang. The whole time I thought she was going to floor it and hit something.

sorry bout what happened and glad youre okay. as for what is being said in the post. its kinda 50/50 with what errbody says lol like its true that more experience and years of driving help but also people are saying teens are bad drivers like all of us are. i actually get offened cuz i try my best to do "fun" stuff when its on an empty highway or street and what not. THE STUPID TEENS WHO ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE ARE THE CAUSE OF THIS STUPID STREOTYPE!!! arghhhh. its like me saying the 40+ yr olds are bad cuz the have a less reaction time or their vision is somewhat lost, or their back is hurting so the get distracted, ETC....

BTW. i started out by driving my moms 2004 GMC Yukon XL. (might of raced, burnout and dounuts with it hehe ) but yes we alll make mistakes. as for me tho. never been in an accident but have been in many close calls... on the days when I DONT SCREW AROUND. so the saying goes **** HAPPENS. in a total of 3 years driving (im 17 but i drove wayyy before my liscense lol) i can say that im a wayyyy better driver than i was before.

I'm 18 and I'm not really sure that a 300 hp car is the greatest idea for people my age either. I mean a lot of horse power + rear wheel drive + inexperienced drivers = some issues.

My brother was 19 when he wrapped his 4.7 Sport Crown Vic (it was black and his dream car. Looked a lot like a Marauder) around a tree, because it was rear wheel drive, and he was being stupid. He was fine, but his car resembled the OP's. It made me be more careful in my car though.

so your "fun stuff" shouldn't be done on a "empty" highway and definitely not on a empty street. you wanna go fast? you wanna race? take it to the track PERIOD. you call other teens stupid when your a prime example of teenage stupidity (not as a person in a whole but with what you have stated makes you a "stupid teen"). What makes you a stupid teen? (which i know your going to flame me about this post and that will be one of your questions) 1. you "have fun" which can be assumed as racing and traveling at high speeds on the highway or street 2. you began driving "wayyy" before you got your license and i that case you put not only yourself, but many others in danger 3. taking mommy's Yukon and racing, doing burnouts, and doughnuts with it. Remember there are two types of drivers, those who have crashed, and those who will. Teens like you ruin it for the rest of us, and yes i am a teen i am only 19 years old, and i can be categorized as one of the drivers who has crashed, since a women ran a red light and T-boned my mustang. But my point here is smarten up and take it to a track, don't act like you know more than the older members on this site, let alone older drivers, remember they have more seat time!
