Default Aluminum Driveshaft Quality

After a disapointing purchase of my first Aluminum Driveshaft I purchased one from the axle exhange and was very happy with the quality and workmanship
What a difference there was between the two products
The first one was 4", I had some clearance issues with the shifter so I opted for a 3.5" driveshaft.

This is the one I use. So far not a single issue with it.

This is also the shop which installed my 3.73s.

Axle offers a 4" too and personally I don't care for the adapter, AE provides a factory pinion flange
Glad you are happy with yours

Which one is needed for lowered cars again? The 3.5 or the 4?

The 3.5 is recommended if lowered.

Thanks! It seems most the people on this forum go with Shaftmasters; might go that route later down the road.

Weighs less which results in a few hp freed up and is stronger/more durable than the factory DS
