That's a resounding NO on this end.

The only time I would buy a rental car:

Very cheap
Low miles
Inspected by a really good mechanic to be in perfect shape
Inspected by a body shop guy and found to be in perfect shape
Completely detailed in and out by a professional detailer

Carfax shows it was a former rental car in Orlando Florida and the car was bought at auction by the dealership. It appears to be okay but, I wonder what people did to the car during their rental time. Any thoughts on what a good price would be? and what type of negotiating approaches to use? Or should I just look elsewhere.
Thanks

Would you marry a hooker who's been used by countless men and has who-knows-what kind of problems going on inside her? Or would you rather marry newer?

Same scenario IMO when it comes to buying previous rental cars.

I understand what all of the others are saying, BUT htere are pro's and con's for everything. I bought a 2010 V-6 Mustang which had previously been a rental car. The car is immaculate inside and out, (And I am one picky Arsehole) it is in excellent mechanical condition, I got all of the service records on the car from the company, It passed the mechanical inspection of my mechanic (Side Note* he HATES Fords so thats saying something), and I got a great deal on the car.

I don't know how it was driven by the people that rented it, BUT It is a V-6 with an automatic, not a GT, or Cobra, and no 6 speed manual transmission, so just how hard can they drive it anyway? I am sure if someone was looking to abuse one they woud go for the V-8's and Standards. But mostly I don't care since it is in top shape today, yesterday is yesterday, tomorrow may never come, and only today counts. If you like it and it is what you want, and your good with the price, But it and I hope it gives you many many miles of smiles.....
