Just got an 05Stang, any suggestions for mods?

If you are looking for visual mods, IMO one of the best is the GT front bumper. Completely changes the appearance. Window louvers are great too.
For performance can't really help you. Haven't had the chance to get into that yet. My first one will be a tune though. Good luck.

Performance: CAI/Tune - Really wakes up the car!
Visual Mods: Single performance exhaust for better sound, front chin spoiler, quarter window louvers, painted calipers, lowering springs, tinted tail lights/side blinkers/3rd brake light and etc.
Happy modding!

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the only person that truly likes those stripes. It seems as if most cars on here don't have them, and they always look naked to me. But I have my back end blacked out and plan on painting my new Bullitts black, so they work well for me. I just wasn't aware that I am really that much of a minority.
And to the OP, I agree that a CAI and tuner is the way to go for the first mod. I had a "MWHAHAHA!" grin when I first uploaded my 93 Racing tune. With mine being an automatic, it really made a huge difference.

I too was about to remove my lower stripes, but they kind of compliment the top stripes rather nicely. So I'm still on the fence about removing them or leaving them.
Back to topic: the suggested mods listed for performance are the ones to do. Avoid things like "throttle body spacers" and various other things that are supposed to add 5-20 hp...it won't happen. A tune and CAI are the top performance mods to make.
For safety, get a t-loc in that rear end, along with different gears at the same time. In the '05's, many people I know have had the car spin out on them when making slow left-hand turns on slippery surfaces, due to not having a trac-loc in the rear end.
A good free mod is the "heated throttle body bypass"; there's a sticky somewhere on how to do that.
