Default Sixxer Pricing...

Whatsup guys! I have yet to get my mustang as I am always having questions though for you...But all good things deserved will come over time is a great quote I live by with my future pony....

But my situation....My dad's friend owns a dealership in Tennessee and he is constantly going to Ford auctions for me to find mustangs, but I have yet to really like one in my color (Black or white) that he has showed me, But he is getting them for auction price and selling to me for that price + taxes etc.... he actually got my bro a 08 Charger 3.5L for a awesome price..so he is a savior haha

My question is what do you guys think 05-09 Sixxers are going for in auctions?I see dealers bone stock , some are 10k-12k as some mentioned so i would imagine he would be getting the car for around 7k-8k? if i am right? I was wondering what you guys thought?Because he is saving me 2-4k and all that will go into my mods. .

It's hard to say what they are going for in auctions, those numbers could be correct, as dealers always jack the prices up, you could always just ask what the prices are that he sees, if he is friend then I don't think that will bother him all that much, I paid 11,200 for mine from a private seller, he only made 400 off the sale, so I think I did alright on that.

Don't blame you on the waiting part, even when I get a part in the mail, I'm so excited and can't wait. Hope your wait isn't too long.

Haha definetly....!

Im a sophmore in college and I want one while im still young haha..I hear it's a chick magnet .....

To check the field
My dad and I just got back from a couple Ford dealerships, and 1 had a beautiful white Pony package and it made my mouth water lol..... 2007 -37k Miles Premium...Had the salesman get a price for me and while he was away I was telling my dad that it would be around 15k or just under....Salesman came back and told me 17,500...I was kind opf shocked.....I know it was a pony package and all, but I was telling him I can grab a GT or even a 2011 v6 for around that price!

He was a guy that had been there a while and knows his way around this stuff I can tell, and He was telling me that he can cut a deal, but that model isn't going to stay, so thats why it is that price. We talked ...then left.

What you guys think of that price? High?

I think it is for a 07, like all dealers he said he wanted to make a deal on it, that cars value is probably more around 12-13k, but they all jack the price up, which is part of the reason car prices keep going up.

Woah. That guy had to be taking you for a ride. 17,500 doesn't sound right at all. You can definitely grab a GT with similar miles for the same price. I wouldn't go back to that shmuck.

From a fellow college student, good luck on the future purchase (fingers crossed).
