Default High flow cats and pacesetter headers?

Just curious if high flow cats are worth it...what's the horsepower increase or is it even noticeable? How much is gained from removing them all together? What are the legalities of that, can a police officer pull you over just for suspicion of not having them and ticket you or what?

Also what do you think of pacesetter headers versus other brands like bbk, pypes, etc. Is the HP gain roughly the same between the three? I just got duals and want to get the best flow I can for them

There aren't any legal issues if you remove them but depending on how strict emissions are in your state you might not pass without them. It will be a lot raspier without them. Not really sure how much of a difference high-flow cats would make but I doubt it would be much

Headers really aren't worth it on your V6 unless you have some form of Forced Induction.
At least that's what I've heard.

And I would stick with the Dual Exhaust you just installed on the car. An increase in open flow may actually hurt performance. Save the money for actual power adder's.

I actually havr pacesetter longtubes with some bbk hi flow cats followed by some spin tech exhausts they sound really nice. Everyone thinks its a gt lol but before I put the cats on it was super raspy. Annoyingly raspy. Cats helps out alot. Performance wise, my lower end is a beast one thing I did notice is that once I reach about 100mph my car loses it power and I'm thinking its because of the headers. So I just purchased some brand new JBA shorty HEADERS for $170, so I'm gonna find out if that was the issue. But I love the sound with longtubes and cats. Amazing! !
