UGH. I can't stand reading threads like this. Stangs are SO expensive in the midwest!!!.
I paid 14,800 for mine. 06 v6, 27k miles. Perfect condition. That was after a hefty drop in price + trade-in. All stangs in the midwest are much more expensive then other parts of the US. And it's near impossible to find a good private party one.
I'd say look around for a GT for that same price, even if you have to drive a bit to pick it up, it's worth it.

I agree - that seems high. 2007 is a good year, and you should be able to avoid many of the TSB issues that plague 2005-06 Mustangs.
A deer totalled out my 07 PP V6 in May, 2010, and I miss it. With the insurance money, I bought an 06 GT with 65k miles on it for less than what you're talking about.
