You asked about video of the Xcharger - here is one from a track visit last fall, against a BMW V12

My kid and I racing a Portland he has a supercharger GT. I am on his *** the whole time. We came in on the same lap after 20 minutes and he was ahead by only a few hundred feet.

Buy the way there was a guy at Portland one day with a entry level Lotus Elise. Grant it he was not the best driver out there but I had no problem stay right on his *** and passing him a few time.

Oh wow those are some sweet videos. I've been scavenging the net for an x for sale I found one so far but im gunna wait and see if I van find any others before pulling the plug.

That's awesome beating a car with twice the cylinders! Hahaha. I wish I could have seen his face :P

And Nice Pony I just realized you live in WA! I have lots of family there and actually lived there for a few years when I was a kid. My family used to own the Dairy Queen in bremerton and we lived in port orchard. I miss it so much there, I'm moving back first chance I get. It's sweet to see there's some nice tracks there too!

Check out this new track they are building in Shelton. It will be one of the best tracks in the country when completed. It should be ready to race by this coming summer!

Im guessing that wider tires and better rubber will help loads with the x, esp with a 10/9 staggered setup?

Ive been looking at those for awhile, think theyll look great w the candy apple red. But in all seriousness, how much would the tires help? What would you reccomend for all season use?

I personally think chrome or anthracite looks the best on dark reds like that. But black looks good too man. In the end its whatever you like!

Generally the more rubber the better as far as handling goes on these Mustangs. That said an ultra high performance all season tire will not perform nearly as well as an extreme performance summer tire.

There are always trade offs however. The summer tire will not work very well at all as temperatures approach freezing and can actually be down right dangerous it will also not last very long. The all season tire will perform well in all conditions and will give you good mileage but top end performance will suffer in the summer.

Personally I run Kumho - Ecsta ASX 255/50R17 tires for daily driving and Bridgestone - Potenza RE-11 245/45R17 at the track on my sixer. My son runs Kumho - Ecsta ASX 255/45R18 for daily driving and Bridgestone - Potenza RE-11 275/40R18 at the track all around on his GT. He has a pretty good advantage over me with that extra rubber on the ground so I may have to up the ante on tires next season.

My son runs Rota DPT 18x9.5, +44mm offset, Flat Black, wheels all around with no clearance issues at all with the Bridgestone - Potenza RE-11 275/40R18 tires mounted. The wheels only weigh 21 lbs each minus the tires! His plan is to get another set of the Rota wheels for daily driving and mount a set of Kumho - Ecsta ASX 275/40R18 on them.

The Bridgestone - Potenza RE-11 is a great street legal extreme performance summer/track tire but if you were to use them for daily driving you would be lucky to get 10,000 miles out of them. They are however no match for full race only Hoosier R compound track tires. We both may be upgrading to the Hoosiers for the track in the near future.

1st off I think my man Redfire has one of the sexiest rides on MF (be it V-4, V-6, V-8, V-10,lol). The numbers that he's putting down for any mustang are bad azz. That's why I have to go with the Vortech. The X seems bad azz as well but Redfires ride makes me lean toward the Vortech. Oh snap, I forgot I have one to!
