Back in 2005, you needed the option code 18G Interior Upgrade Package for $450.00 in order to get the 6 gauge My Color instrument cluster. Cars without it had the 4 gauge instrument cluster as standard equipment.

-inc: bright polished (6) gauge instrument cluster w/MyColor feature, leather-wrapped steering wheel/shift ****, satin register vents, satin aluminum finish steering wheel spokes/instrument panel/door latches/door scuff plate, message center, Dark Charcoal Aberdeen pattern on front door panel inserts

My-Color was not available on the 2005 - 2006 S197 models...
The oil pressure "guage" on the 6 guage is basically
a "its over 10PSI digital switch that makes the guage
pointer go to the middle of its range. It then stays there
regardless of the oil pressure as long as its over the 10PSI
oil pressure "switch", not "sender" as is required for an oil
pressure "guage"
The oil "guage" is an idiots idiot light style "guage".
And the ol voltmeter is about as accurate as if I stuck
the wires directly to my tounge to read the voltage.
My $500 Fluke meter tells another story about voltage
that the voltage "guage" ever dreamed of doing.
Fork the 6 "guage" cluster and get a MSD DashHawk off
eBay for info on every parameter the PCM can read via
the OBDII port.

I believe MyColor was available in the '05 and '06 models as part of the interior upgrade package. My '06 has it. It also has the 6 gauge which I assume is part of the pony package.
