Forced induction

Forced induction
I have 1k to spend and really want to go forced induction, I have found many turbos and even a gt500 supercharger but not the entire kit. Is this possible? There is not a saving option. If there is no way I can go forced induction at this limit what other mod can get me real power besides nitrous
I have a cai custom tune x pipe

Not possible ..unless you get all the bits and pieces that are very used and may or may not work. Save up double-to-tripple that and get what you need all at once. There's decent deals on used systems people are taking off.
Do you research as to what works with the 4.0L.
That's not saying you cant fab up some things yourself, but unless you have the ability and equipment to fab up a lot of things you need and not pay any labor, you're going to have a hard time putting together a reliable and effective system for only 1k.
Good luck

$1,000 isn't enough to go forced induction. All the parts you need are going to cost you more than that. You can't just buy the Gt500 blower and slap it on, you have to fabricate your own lower intake system, your own pulley system, get the correct size injectors (which will blow at least a third of your budget on the injectors alone). Then you will have to find someone to dyno tune the car so figure another third of your budget gone in that process.
There is a reason that the kits for the Mustang run a few thousand dollars.
You may be able to find someone putting their car back to stock and pick up a system for a good price, but not likely for your $1,000 limit.

Sorry OP, but if you could pick up a working, reliable system for 1k, every sixxer on here would have gone the way of F/I. Why is saving not an option? Do you have some unmarked bills that you need to get rid of quick? If saving ain't an option, you might as well blow that grand on a used 8.8 rear with 3.73s from a wrecked GT to quell your acceleration hunger.

What they all said above.... Plus would you really feel comfortable (if it was possible) with a $1000 forced induction kit? And please do not buy an electric supercharger or something of that nature off of eBay!
