Sirius activation on Shaker system

Today I was driving in the Mustang and decided to hit the Sirius button to see what would happen. I was actually getting audio (I didn't before) on the preview channel. I was very surprised. But... it was going in and out. I know that my XM-based units do this occasionally but this was really intermittent. So I'm mildly encouraged that everything is working(ish) but I don't know why it's going in and out and now I'm not sure that my subscription was even set up by Sirius. Weird, right?

Can't really explain it but last night I went onto the Sirius site and sent a signal to my unit and then took the car out for a 10 minute drive and now my Sirius is working. It went from NO SIGNAL to getting the preview channel to working 100%. It really doesn't make sense but it's working so it's all good. Thanks gang.
