Default Need some advice!

So, as we all know due to the economy it makes things a little hard, especially when you want to buy a new car. I currently have a 2005 mustang v6 with 85,500 miles. I want to sell it and buy a GT, but unfortunately I don't have enough money to afford to do that. The car is paid off, and i'm thinking about keeping the car until my little brother starts driving, or once im able to get a loan to purchase the GT. But until then, is it worth buying aftermarket parts to soup up the car, or should I just save the money and buy the GT?

I was thinking;
C & L Intake + Bama Tuner
MAC Shorty Headers
MAC Off road X pipe
MAC Axle Backs
Custom 2 1/2 inch piping
BBK Throttle Body
Supercharger (X Charger) (Down the road, maybe 1-2 yrs from now)
and that's about it. But even then, i feel like saving that money towards the GT would be a better idea? Or can I get this 4.0L V6 to pull out more than 400 HP. I feel like building on a V6 would be more "custom" as that'd mean dual exhaust, GT Bumper, etc. But the problem is, I want to build off of the 4.0L V6 SOHC Engine. But i'd like to buy Cams for it, etc. Not just bolt ons. What do you guys think I should do. I want a car that can go fast on straight aways, but also have some excellent handling.

I raced my friends' 3.5L V6 Infititi G37S and it's bole**** how his 3.5L V6 is pulling out 328hp and my stang can only get 220hp.. Why is this?

Duplicate post of this: https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-0l...-worth-it.html

That's a no-no.

I agree with must8ng, save up for the GT. If you choose to supercharge in the future, you will need to prepare and have the car set up to handle the new added power, such as suspension, tranny, braking, dual exhaust and etc.

Go for the GT man. My V6 is alot of fun, even with only a few bolt on mods, but my dad's GT with a CAI/tune, pulleys, and 4.10s is better in almost every way. Doesn't handle as well, though, because of my new swaybars.
