then i went with the cai/tuner combo,,,that will wake it up
+1

If you want a deep growl, get an h-pipe. I have an h-pipe with Flowmaster American Thunder and I love it. It gives a nice deep sound, and the look of dual exhaust is just unbeatable. A CAI will also improve your exhaust tone, as well as improve gas mileage. The tuner will make the car fun to drive.

redfire and an 06, just like mine! sure do like it. i will say, my first mod was an American Thunder flowmaster, but it was free. and it sounds awesome on there. i also took off the "mustang" sticker along the bottom of the door, looks much cleaner, and people already know its a mustang. a bigger diameter rim looks really good, mine has 18" 2010 mustang gt rims on it, i love them! i plan to get a tuner for mine, cause people rave about them. enjoy the rid!

Defiantly all great advise. I'm thinking after this I may go the dual route then cai/tune. But still not sure. I think from this I need to start researching prices.. Over all for me budget is not a serious concern. Time to reach some goals depending how expensive things get may be a different story. But in all I'd do it none the less the right way rather than the cheap way. Does anyone know if a body shop can customize a V6 bumper properly? I was looking at the GT and I gotta agree with a previous comment about the GT vs the V6, Im liking the cleaner crisp look. But for me, I fear making a mess of things doing it myself and would rather get someone who knows how to do it instead.

I already have a CAI for you, one of the best ones, pm me of ur interested in buying it!
Personally I did the CAI/tune then duals. I'd highly recommend that same thing. Duals are all looks. They do look great but 9/10 people who don't pay attention don't even realize there isn't duals.
Also get a shorty antenna for like $20 on eBay and get a rear blackout panel. Those really help looks. If you can affor it buy some bullitt rims as they look way better than the v6 rims (I also have those for sale :P)

Get some front/rear take-off GT sway bars under there ASAP.
The 31.5mm front sway just wont do and the sans sway on the
rear is a question to ask Ford (why no rear sway bar).
And poly bushings while you are at it.
I started where you are and have done the mods.

It's a V6. To be a beast, you'll be disappointed with anything less than going FI. Be prepared to drop $3000-$6000. And then you'll need suspension and rubber to hook up.

If I had a dollar for every time someone came in here with a 6er and talked about making it beastly....

Lots of info out there on the different mods for these cars

Definitely true duals and new wheels, really changed the entire look of the car.
