Default Gt Front Conversion

I have a 05 and I am going to switch the V6 front for a GT. I was know most of the parts i need but I was just wondering if someone had a list handy and where to get them from. Also does anyone know about wiring up the fogs, I was thinking about going with the bulliet grille just to avoid them but if it was easy to do then I might put them in.

Do a search, as this has been posted many times.
It's an easy swap.

Ok I will. I noticed that since the last time I was on here a lot you swapped to a v8. Did you swap in a stroked 4.6 or what is the specifics. I was thinking about swapping in a built coyote but I want the smoothest swap possible.

As far as the front end conversion goes mainly I just need help locating parts. I can find some but not all.

I converted my V6 to all GT body parts, front and rear fascias. For the front end if you get the fascia everything transfers over from the V6 fascia to the GT. But you will have to get new GT inner fender wells unless you want a big gap. I got mine from rock auto for less than 25 bucks shipped. As for the fog lights I know there is a kit you can get, I didnt have to worry about that since my car was a pony package so I already had fogs. The car looks so much better, you will be glad you did it.

^ You have just become my best friend. Haha
I have been looking for those freaking fender liners for a good price since I did my swap.

OP, if you have the bumper, now you need to get the wiring harness. Look on eBay and I'm pretty sure AM has the harness too. As for the OE GT grille just look online at the different classified sections to find a good price.

My suggestion is a GT front bumper with an unpainted chin spoiler, fender liners, and a rousch 9 bar grille. I went with the bullit grille when I put my GT/CS front end on and I love it. The biggest problem I had was deciding between the 2 grilles. If you want a stock GT grille or an Eleanor or something, I don't know much about the wiring, but it isn't cheap. You will need the harnesses, wiring, and the actual switch/**** thing for the interior, plus you will have to install it. Plus a new GT grille is like 200 bucks, along with 150 bucks for the fogs.

It's an easy swap I just put on the GT/CS front bumper. the only other things I needed were the fender liners, radiator reflector shield, foam bumper isolator and some screws and clips. and of course a new grille, I went with the elanor grille. overall took about 2 and a half hours and is one of my favorite mods.
