Lightbulb Hiding an add-on keypad

I wanted to add a keypad to my car but I thought it didn't look right by the door handle. The keypad spoiled the lines. So where to put it? I had just added a Steeda gas cap. The backside of the cap is flat. The keypad fits perfectly, you can't tell from the outside, and doesn't interfer when gasing the car.

Picture to follow

Umm I guess on this forum you have to post the image somewhere else and then link the picture. That is the only option I get for insert image. And my "Posting Rules" show I may not post attachments. :-(

Something like this?

I think its a cool alternative to mounting near the door handle. Would of suggested it to you if you haddent already picked it.

Where do you get these keypads and what exactly are they for?

I did this with my mustang. mounted keypad in exactly the same spot.

it really bothered me not having keyless entry on this car.

Its a keyless entry thing.
One more thing to go wrong.
There are better ways to spend the dough.
I just use the fob like Ford intended and all is well.
No need for the add on keypad like grandmas Lincoln has.
There is such a thing as too many add ons.

The old reed switch in the rubber weatherstrip does it for me.
Just pass a high powered magnet over the general area and the door unlocks.

Now if it was fingerprint ID, you might have something there.
Until you need to go to the hospital because you just
lopped all your fingers off....

Just do a search for 7L2Z-14A626-BA and buy the cheapest offering you can find. They're for entering your vehicle without a key.
