Welcome, I'm also a newbie with my 2006 Mustang. And like you I will be doing a budget upgrades to my ride. This forum has been a great weath of information and you will get great advise. Depending on your pocket book will depend on what you want to do with your ride. I just did the aircraft fuel door and the seqential tail lights. The CAI with bama tuner is my next mod and will probably not do the duals. Lowering my ride is also on my list so I can get the Mustang more level since the backend seems to stick up. So as you do your mods don't forget to post pics. Great to have you aboard and look forward to seeing how your ride progresses.

I am thinking about getting a dual conversion kit from AM on on V6, the Pypes True Dual Exhaust looks like the best bet.

Honestly, pretty much my favorite upgrade was a shorty antenna. Looks soooo much better than the stock one. I cant stress it enough LOL

I keep my antenna in the trunk. Since the car has to sit outside I keep a car cover on it and I didn't want to put a hole in the fabric, so I just took it off. I still get excellent reception when I use the radio. I also have Sirius.

Congratulations on your new ride, and welcome to MF!

Sounds like you're starting the typical mods for the V6.
CLICK HERE to check out Taco Bill's links if you haven't already.

+1 for no rear spoiler, now toss that yard stick Ford calls an antenna
