Well, maybe you wouldnt call it a shift light, but just before the revlimiter kicks in, the tach flashes red.

I found this accidentally during a hamfisted launch.

If you set the MyColor to red on the gauge, the rev limiter will not change to another color. FYI.

the 2010 does it also... i did it during a burn out and was like O ****, that can't be good... Lit the whole car up with flashing red...

better then some idiot light though.. i had a jeep wrangler that the shift light would turn on at the worst times...

Does anyone know if this is a premium only feature? I've never noticed it on my 2012 Base PP. I was actually looking around for a shift light because I've accidentally hit the rev limiter once or twice (:-O) and I came across videos for the tach turning red, but they seem to be all premiums.

My friend has a 2010 V6 non-PP and it flashes red when the red line is hit.
