Default HID Kit Question

I recently ordered an HID Kit off of DDMTuning. I ordered an H13 bulb size. It came in the mail and I was trying to install it today, but noticed that the two terminals that should be plugged into the stock headlight plug are a bit too big. Did I order the wrong part or something? I noticed on another forum that some people mentioned they bought the 9007 size... so was I wrong in ordering H13? Pictures below.

Did those spades fit into the headlight connector? When I tried to fit those in, they were too big for the slots. Also, I would, but I can't edit my post.. sorry about that.

I've ran into this installing 3 different HID kits (2 Mustangs, 1 F150). Don't know how comfortable you are with cutting/splicing the head light pig tail. But with ones too long/too big I cut the spades off and cut the head light pig tail off once I know which wire goes where I just splice them together.

Ah okay, so it involves splicing. I'll go ahead and get help from a friend then who's better with that stuff than I am. I was just expecting plug and play when I bought this kit.

Installed 'em! We snipped off the stock connector, crimped the spades onto the wires, then soldered them and covered them with a heat shrinking tube (because we didn't have electrical tape). Used zip ties to mount the ballasts and wires.

Looks great! I ordered 6000K so it's really nice and white, with a tiny hint of blue. The only thing I noticed is that when I flicked on the lights one time, only one side turned on, but then when I turned them off and then on again, they both turned on. Not sure if it's a connection issue or if it needs to warm up or something.

I'll take pictures later tonight.

Man, I'm sorry about the above post. The image host rotated it for some reason. I also apologize for the triple post, but I can't edit my posts...
