Default Not overheating but smells hot??

Started noticing a hot smell in the cab of my car the other day. Usually starts after I get at higher speeds. Car isn't running hot and there's no smoke in engine bay. No puddles either, other than the normal a/c condensation on ground. No leaks inside under dash as 2ell. Any ideas???

Could be anything but if its not leaking, smoking, over heating I wouldn't worry about it.

Do you have a Morison coolant tank? Cause if so it will produce the heated coolant smell

Is your car a standard or auto? You could be smelling your clutch if your getting on it or brakes if your using them hard?

Here's an off the wall idea. A few years back, I was driving my Corvette down the highway. A lawn fertilizer bag kicked up and stuck to my hot exhaust. I was forever getting that stupid thing off. Car smelled like burnt plastic every time I drove it.

its an automatic. Im starting to thinking maybe it is either the clutch or the brakes. I had about 500 extra pounds in the car thanks to two passengers the other night and i pulled out from a gravel road at an incline to pull onto the highway and the car revved up high. I only notice the weird smell when the car gets up to temp.

Resevoir is the stock one. Transmission isnt skipping or hesitating as well.Fluid levels are on spot. No oil in coolant and no coolant in oil so its not a gasket. Car runs fine, just that hot smell is getting me paranoid. Im actual starting to smell the smell everywhere now lol

Ya I know lol. But I started thinking more an more and I do remember having a case that the water bottles come fly under my car and the smell is that of plastic. Gonna jack the car up and look under just to be safe though.
