Know it well.. it's been a work in progress since I got mine in 2009, but with the new ride now needing mods, it will be good for now until the next neat thing comes out.

Just wandered over to the S197 threads. I usually post in the classic section. I have a rude and crude 67 big block with no AC, PS, PB, PW, etc. It's Fast and Loud but my wife was getting a bit tired of it's harsh character. I bought her a 99GT 5 speed and I couldn't help modding it too so she didn't like it anymore. So we bought a 07 V6 auto. At first she wouldn't let me touch it but so far as long as I don't mess with how it drives she is okay and actually likes how it looks.
So I started with tinted windows and a fog light grille conversion. Then a CDC chin spoiler. Then a cowl hood (cuz it will get a Xcharger some day!), then some side window louvers which were actually her idea! I recently added some 07 GT500 wheels. I bought some lowering springs but haven't installed them yet, she is worried it will be too low...
Anyway, I like the car a lot and the 4.0 isn't really that bad for a stock car.

Nice. When you do the springs... see if you can locate and install a take-off GT rear sway bar. It's a nice handling upgrade.
