Default V6 mufflers alternatives ?

I remember seeing a post by someone that had the chance to try many different exhaust on his V6 and he rated them.

I can't find it anymore...

Anyone remember this post.

No. But if you go on youtube you can pretty much find any or all muffler options...

I put a stock GT muffler on and sounds much better and you can snag the GT mufflers super cheap to hold you over till you find exactly what you want

Look for postings by Cubican, both here and at mustangcollective. He had every muffler out there at one time on his car and I'm pretty sure that is the thread you are looking for.

Are you moving to a dual exhaust conversion, or just exploring single exhaust options? I can't really recommend the Flowmasters on the V6 - to each their own, but I think it sounds very "bleh" on six cylinders. I think someone mentioned before, grab a GT muffler on the cheap and see how that does it for you.

I have Magnaflo catback true duals. They sound great, without being too loud inside the car. The dual exhausts look very much like a GT. Add it to the CAI and an SBC tune and the car has LOTS of Power! Fun and sounds good!
