Default Dangerous tires?

I took my 09 V6 into the shop I use yesterday and Bruce saw a little
dry rot on the sidewall of my P Zero Nero's. The car has 30,000 miles,
and I believe the tires are the original's. Am I living dangerous driving over
80 mph as Bruce said? There is still plenty of tread on the tires, I just
had them rotated at the dealer. I think the car had set up for a period of time.
Any replies are welcome, these tires cost $155.00 a piece.

Dry rot should not be good, unless i'm mistaken it could compromise the integrity of your sidewalls and cause a blowout. Not something I'd risk...

I've replaced tires before due to sidewall cracking. I wouldn't chance it. Replace them.

I would definitely replace them since they are that cheap.

Thanks for the link, I really must look for new tires, 2 at a time as my funds are low.
Any suggestions? Thanks again, Go Hoosiers!

I suggest you do some research on tirerack.com and find the tires that fit your needs and budget.
When you have it down to a few selections come back here so we can berate your selections.

Check the DOT #s for the manufacturing date.
It will be in the form of 4 numbers like 2507 for 25th week of 2007.
Its either on the outer or inner sidewall...

Bruce must sell tires...
