A couple of small DIY mods. (Prepare to do a lot of reading)
So the other day me and my friend were in a local autozone because he needed to get some new gaskets for his jetta. I was looking around and saw some spray on light tint so I grabbed a bottle, later that day we went into lowes and I saw a can of plasti dip. Now I've heard all about plasti dip but iv'e never seen it, so I grabbed a couple of cans. And this is the result.
Lets start with the headlight tint, I didn't spray it on my headlights because cops around here tend to pull people over for things like that
I sprayed about 2 coats on, I wanted them to be pretty dark since I dont use my fog lights that much.
I am very happy with the results, I think it looks really mean.
Now the plasti dip, after using it I can say that I really like this stuff. I love the fact that it just peels right of, so I didn't have to worry about overspray that much.
I sprayed the underside of my decklid spoiler after I got inspired by this thread https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...ler-paint.html
It was fairly easy taped it up a bit and sprayed away. Me and my friend tried the day before and didn't like the end result so we peeled it off and tried again, another reason why I love this stuff. We didn't like how we couldn't get a clean straight edge, I think it was because we let it dry and then pulled the tape off which tore some of the plasti dip. So we resprayed it and peeled the tape off while it was still wet, and the result was much much better.
I am very happy with the way it turned out, and if I dont like it in a couple of months I can pull it right off.
I think it's really cool that I can go out and spend about $30 and do a couple of good looking mods to my car.

Thank you, I got the idea from that thread I linked. He did almost the same thing but I think he did it with just regular spray paint while I did mine with plasti dip.
