Put my 2.8" pulley on to see what kind of boost it makes. Wound up with just a bit over 14PSI! Actually more than I expected since the 3.0" makes 11PSI.

If you end up making 400+ hp to the wheels like you suspected, that means this blower will be making over 100% more hp than stock! crazy! I know that you do have other mods besides just the blower, so if your tuner makes a general tune for the masses based on your car, will that mean they all other 4.0s will need the upgraded head, pistons, etc that you have to be able to use it? Or I should ask, how much would a stock engine make vs. how much of the hp is due to the supporting mods and how many of those mods are required?
also sorry about all the questions

Justin at VPM Tuning will have his hands on a stock engine with this upgrade to play with pretty soon.

The main power gains will definitely be the blower and how much PSI it makes in the manifold. I am running SSM stage 2+ heads and stock cams and stock 9.7:1 CR so not a lot of gains there. Just slightly larger valves and clean up of the ports for the most part.

When can we expect to see those numbers an longevity opinions on the stock internals? The thought of a 350+rwhp sixxer gets me all hot and bothered

OK here's the latest scoop.

There is a small run of inlet tubes at the machine shop being machined now.

Explorer express is not officially doing a kit yet and may not for a while. What they will do is sell you the X-Charger Xtreem kit minus the MP90 and MP90 inlet tube. You would need to get either a 3" or 2.8" pulley from them depending on how much boost you want to run. You would then purchase the MP1900 TVS directly from Magnuson. I can supply the information they need for the correct nose length. I can supply the The MP1900 TVS inlet tube. You will need to do the fuel pump wiring upgrade that you can find in the forums at VMP Tuning and other places or an upgraded fuel pump like the GT500 dual pumps, which as it turns out on my setup are way over kill. The 39lbs injectors in the X-Charger kit should also be plenty. I did 63lbs but as it turns out I really didn't need that much. The only modification to the kit would be to cut the front of the X-Charger coil bracket off to clear the vacuum actuator. I did that on mine in a vice with a hacksaw. You will need to get a custom tune done. Either at a competent dyno shop or thorough data logging with a tuner like Justin at VMP Tuning. I added and recommend a Derale Performance 8" Tornado Series Fan 16508 to my heat exchanger to keep the IC coolant cool when in traffic or stopped at a light.

As for the final numbers I have yet to get a local tuner I trust on this but the tune that Doug has running on this right now even though if is backed off some since we have yet to totally finish data logging is great and at 14lbs of boost this thing definitely kicks *** over my old M90 at 10lbs of boost. I have put 5000 miles on it so far with no issues at all.

I am currently working on a redesigned idler plate with a third pulley that will make it much easier to get belt tension just right to avoid belt slip on both the MP90 with a 2.6" pulley and MP1900 TVS with a 2.8" pulley. This is not a totally necessary part if you know how to setup the belt tension correctly using shims and pulleys and such.

So what are the prices on the two separate kits or parts?

You would need to contact Dave at Explorer express for the X-Charger Xtreem price minus the MP90.
You would need to contact Magnuson for the price of the MP1900. I think they are going for around $2100 or so.
I can supply the MP1900 TVS Inlet tube for around $350.
