Default Strut and shock replacement

Can someone provide a good DIY link for this work. I've searched and could not find a simple diy. Also, do you have to remove/compress springs for the front struts, or do you do springs at the same time?

Purchase a Haynes or Chilton repair manual at your local Autozone?
You can rent/borrow the necessary tools there as well

You can do struts/shocks without springs but it's not wise to do springs without struts/shocks.
You will need a spring compressor for the front, rears can be done with a jack and jack stands.

Hopefully this link works.... It'll take you to the workshop manuals in the suspension section, you can click on front suspension then removal and installation and then the struts and springs.... It's pretty straight forward, I've done it several times.

How to change them and the
compressor compressor
and http://www.ebay.com/itm/MONROE-72138-Front-Strut-Assembly-/330661695247?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cfcf90f0f&vxp=mtr#ht_1102wt_1396 and http://www.ebay.com/itm/MONROE-5783-Rear-Shock-Absorber-/330661693616?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4cfcf908b0#ht_1102wt_1396 to do it.
While you are there you need to replaced the strut mounts as they will most likely be destroyed, plus this is a nice cheap upgrade from OEM.
Im going to get crap for posting an ebay link but i have had great results with Monroe struts and shocks and from ebay and their return policy.

also know that you have to get an alignment afterwards, most of the time this will cost about $60-$100 and can be done by most tire shops.

Go get em tiger.
