Default 2012 v6 uses up full tank in 1 week?

Hello fellow mustang lovers.
im new to the forum so forgive me if this isnt posted in the right place and a bit lenghty, but i desperately need some help >.<

i recently got into a car accident which required my whole car to be taken apart and put back together. after i got it back i noticed that ive been refueling more often than usual. a full tank would normally last me around 2 weeks but now it lasts around 7-10 days and ive been driving just as i would before, and havent drove anywhere far. i filled up 4 days ago and its already down to half a tank.

if the mechanic messed up, what could they have done wrong? does it have to do with the engine oil consumption? also, i wanna take my car to ford and have them look at it, but would them knowing ive taken it to a different mechanic go against the warranty?

thank youuu!

a before and after MPG number might be more telling - just a thought - did they have to change tire (size)?

Did they mess with the fuel guage sensor? Are you still putting the same amount of fuel in each week or is it less too????

nope. but I did take it to ford today after noticing I'm getting 12 mpg which is definitely bad, but I didn't know what it was before but I know 12 is way too low. I explained everything and they did nothing about it because the "engine light wasn't on." the mechanic told me to reset the mpg fill up to a full tank and see what it reads. I've been driving a few miles to get an average and so far the highest it's been is 12

unless you are drag racing, 12 means something is wrong
