How bout a tutorial on how and when to use seafoam in a S197?

I hear folks saying put it in the gas tank, or in the vaccum line, or in the crankcase... How bout a simple, easy to follow plan for using it... I try not to just pour mystery liquid in my car without knowing what I am doing...
