Default hood scoop

Ok, I want to put a scoop on. What Im looking for is simple but that fits well, going to go with the flat black look, kinda retro. AM has one but I don't like the way it fits, looks like it doesn't follow the contour of the hood at the front. Can anyone recomend one that looks good and fits well? And how abot the 3m tape, does it work well? Thanks

The Roush scoop fits great, tape, and bolts thru the hood.

Thanks, we have the same car. Did yours come painted? Was kind of hoping not to drill thru hood. But not the end of the world either. How much is the roush?

Got mine from a member here (thanks JimC) for $50. had it repainted to match. You can try the search here for scoops. the new ones run $170. for unpainted. $400. for painted. ouch.

I'm sure you can find an OEM hood scoop, too. While I have the Roush Hood Scoop, I have always loved the design of the factory hood scoop.

I don't know if it's just me but I can't really find the difference between the roush and factory o.o

Cervini's my fav but those are the links I've been stalking for scoops.

A buddy of mine has the Roush hood scoop and he really likes how it fits on his 2008 hood.

Hope this helps!

I have a 3-D Carbon hood scoop on my 07 GT/CS. Longer and wider than the others, but low in profile. Can't download pic's here, but I have pic's in my member area, page 155, GrumpysGT.
Got it several years ago on e-bay, pre-painted. Attached with 3-M tape that came with it. Still solid as the day I put it on in 2009.
