Default Is $20,985 high for a used V6 Premium?

Hey all. So I have been in the market for a few months now and have finally come across the car with everything I want. Kona Blue, premium v6 with pony package. Car looks like it's in excellent condition and has 26,905 miles on it.

I just wanted some input about the price it's listed at. Do you guys think I could bargain it down some? To me it seems just a tad high but I just wanted a little feedback from everyone.

More info. If you're talking $20k for a '10 or older, I'd tell the seller he's azz crazy. You can get a new, base '13 V6 leftover for about that.

http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...BP8AM9C5214932 - Window Sticker

http://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/2012/...oupe-2D/Values - NADA (Don't know if it will show the options that I checked off).

NADA Values it at $22,025 at Clean Retail, $17,900 Average Trade. If it is private party, it is pretty much in the ballpark. If it is a dealer, you are doing good, but can still probably squeeze another $1,000 out either way. Just make sure there isn't anything wrong with it (shouldn't be unless it was dogged).

Does this forum still have the rule that you have to have 50 posts before you can post a photo? That could be his problem. I think he overpaid for that model. I just bought a '12 V6 Premium Convertible with the Pony Pkg for $21,500.

I doubt he overpaid, he said he got under $23k OTD (meaning taxes and fees included). Book Retail (which doesn't account for taxes and fees) came in around $22k. If he paid $23k OTD, he probably got it for under $22k sale price, but I don't know how bad taxes hit him in that area.

I usually sell my cars using Private Party KBB
So I would have sold it for around $19,000
As you can get Brand New ones for $24,000 to $25,000

Take care of it, it might be the last Mustang you ever Buy !
....Enjoy
