Default Any of you Drag or Bracket race your V6

I have an 06 I bought last May. It is a base V6 and my daily driver right now and I have another car that is my project. But I plan on when it is paid off, I will get something else as a driver and keep it and make it another toy. What I would like to do with it is go the way of bracket racing it or even maybe Class racing.
Are there any of you that do this with an S197 V6, and what mods have you done to it for drag racing? When I get to that point. I am not going to care about economy. I would like to keep it drivable for the street but it will not be a regularly driven car at that point.
Here is what I will be starting with.

If you haven't already, you should read through the 4.0 1/4 ET and Dyno Numbers thread: https://mustangforums.com/forum/v6-s...o-numbers.html Here you can get a very good idea about what kinds of times you can expect with the many different mods.
Hope this helps

Car looks great, mine started out just like yours. The 4.0 responds great to a good custom tune. Start there and there is no reason to wait before taking it out to the track.

Thanks for the input guys. Hey Jim. love the Windveil Blue mustang you have there.
I am planning on, as soon as the "New" or revamped I should say, local drag strip is reopened here in Phoenix. To take it down the track at open track nights.
Thanks guys
