Ok, if you upgraded your gears are you happy now?

Thanks bud, nice work on your install. I totally agree re-painting that axle was worth it...since you were planning to go FI you went all the way.
I've got work to do on this car man, I still didn't get my new panhard bar yet and I supposed to get the new lowering springs installed in October!

When my Wife's 2006 Mustang was less than a year old I went to the local junk yard & got a 4.10 T-lok out of a Ford Aerostar for $50 & installed it. No whining issues & it really make the little V6 fly. 0-80mph was very impressive but above 80mph no so impressive.

I thought my 3rd gear problem would be solved by a Steeda shifter, right now when you wind her out you gotta slam that stock shifter to grab 3rd. I was considering this one as it seems to get good reviews:

I've never driven a sixer or Gt with this kit, but Steeda has a good reputation for quality parts. As for clutches, yes I'm sure I'll start to have clutch issues but the car has 52K now so I'm somewhat expecting it anyway.

Gotta pay to play. A shifter isn't going to make 3rd gear stronger/unbreakable.
