If I recall correctly, your buddy that owns a 2011 V6, (I met at Hooters car show) mentioned how minimal the HP difference was when he removed the stock airbox. He said the HP difference was only 1 or 2 HP more and didn't feel it was worth the money to get a CAI.

+1 the newer stangs (2011+ V6) come with a factory installed CAI so it's pointless to replace it for the cost vs. few extra Flywheel HP you gain. The Tune is the main thing anyway unless you have other Bolt on goodies where the higher flow rate offered by some of the aftermarket CAI would actually make a difference.
