Light switch illumination issues
#11
I had the same problem with my '06 GT switch. I took the switch out and took it apart. I was able to find a bulb online fairly cheap. It was a little tedious to replace but it was very doable. Hopefully, Ford will start using LEDs so they should last the life of the car.

SuperBright White LEDs on eBay and size the resistor for 20mA current draw
using OHMs law. About a 2.2K ohm resistor.

2013 with similar problem
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum so if this is the wrong way to ask about my problem let me know. The indicator bar and light icon on the switch **** do not light up. The icons around the dial illuminate and all of the switch functions work. The switch does not have the removable bulb. I replaced the switch with a new one and it doesn't work either. Any suggestions? Voltage check points on switch connector?
Thanks
